1,438 food kits were delivered to 18 Child Development Centers

The Chimborazo Prefecture and the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion, MIES, comply with the signed inter-institutional agreement and continue with the delivery of food kits for the families of the children, belonging to the 18 Child Development Centers of the Riobamba canton.

Luis Basantes, head of the Child Development Centers of the Provincial Board, mentioned that “1,438 kits of food rations were distributed to the parents of the infants-users of the CDI. Each one received 2 food kits ”. It highlights that the participation of the educators and coordinators of the comprehensive care units is fundamental in this day of food delivery.

The Child Development Centers with which the Provincial Board and MIES work are: “Mis Primeras Travesuras”, “Nuevo Amanecer”, “Carusel Mágico”, “Mis Angelitos”, “Las Hormiguitas”, “Villa María”, “Semillitas” , “Primaveritas”, “Quingue Mágico”, “Ernesto Beck”, “Marcelo Sáenz”, “Droplets of Honey”, “Galapaguitos”, “Rayitos de Luz”, “Sembradores del Mañana”, “Pecuaritos”, “Rinconcitos de Amor ”And“ Alegrijes ”.

The parents of these Child Development Centers in the city thanked the Provincial Government for the help received by these children and young people who live in extreme poverty and vulnerability.
