In the auditorium of the Provincial Government of Chimborazo, attention services were inaugurated in the CDI Child Development Centers, run by the Provincial Board in agreement with the MIES, in addition, the educators and coordinators of the CDIs were trained on prevention in case of violence and sexual abuse against women, family nuclei, boys, girls and adolescents.
A total of 725 boys and girls will receive care and protection in 16 CDI Child Development Centers, under the custody of 81 educators. In the opening ceremony he participated; Carmen Gadbay, vice-prefect of Chimborazo, the president of the Provincial Board of Trustees, Mrs. Marianita Carrillo, Vinicio Chávez, Director of the Provincial Board and Gonzalo Ruales, District Director of MIES.
“With that capacity, with that example, with that mystique of service and teaching, you are going to obtain what we all dream of, good people, men and women of tomorrow,” said Marianita Carrillo, president of the Provincial Board.
And she thanked the DINAPEN and DEVIF officials of the Chimborazo Sub-Zone National Police No. 6 for exposing their knowledge and experience, reinforcing current issues that are necessary for everyone’s care.
On his side, Vinicio Chávez, Director of the Provincial Board of Trustees, thanked MIES for the openness and inter-institutional articulation. “The work you do for the development of a country is very important, that its children are fully developed in their cognitive abilities (…) we work for priority care groups, and especially for infants,” he said.
For his part, Gonzalo Ruales, District Director of MIES in Chimborazo recognized the articulation between institutions for child development, “as the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion we are the entity that ensures that everything is fulfilled in the best way, they are State resources that we trust that these are represented in the best way, “he concluded.
