Autonomous merchants of Riobamba receive food kits from the Provincial Board

With the presence of Carmen Gadvay, Vice-prefect of Chimborazo, Mariana Carrillo, president and Isabel Maldonado, director of the Provincial Board, in the auditorium of the Prefecture of Chimborazo, the autonomous merchants of the city of Riobamba received food kits from the Provincial Board, in recognition of their effort and sacrifice that they make daily to bring daily sustenance to their homes and face the difficult economic situation due to the pandemic.

Mariana Carrillo, president of the Provincial Board of Trustees, thanked the mothers and fathers who make up the group of autonomous merchants for the presence and expressed deep appreciation for the hard work they carry out every day in the streets of Riobamba to bring economic support to their homes, “we want to send these food rations, as a contribution to their families,” he mentioned.

Meanwhile, Olga Romero, representative of the informal merchants of Riobamba, extended an effusive gratitude to the prefect, Juan Pablo Cruz and the Provincial Board for the help they received, “this generosity gives us a lot of encouragement to continue with our work, God bless and that they continue working for the province ”.

For her part, Isabel Maldonado, Director of the Provincial Board of Trustees, took the opportunity to make available to all self-employed traders, the specialized medical services with free medicine offered by the institution in the Type “B” Health Center, located on the streets Spain and August 10, as well as technical aids (wheelchairs, canes and walkers) for vulnerable groups, the elderly and people with catastrophic illnesses.
