The fumigation brigades of the Chimborazo Prefecture carried out a full day of disinfection in the Chambo canton, as part of the contingency plan deployed to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the province.
The day began with the disinfection of the canton’s public transport units and the streets through which they move daily, to safeguard the integrity of drivers and users.
Subsequently, the six motorized pumps, three vans and a taquero of the Institution fumigated public spaces and of massive attendance, such as parks, neighborhood houses and Child Development Centers (CDI).
In addition, masks were delivered to carriers, people who are engaged in agriculture and brick making, and citizens in general.
In this way, the Chimborazo Prefecture ratifies its commitment to ensure the health of the residents of neighborhoods, communities and parishes of the 10 Chimboracense cantons.
