The Chimborazo Prefecture, through the Productive Development Directorate with the Economic Improvement Unit, delivered certificates for the training provided with the “Entrepreneur Wednesday” program. More than 650 people, between entrepreneurs and artisans producers, put their knowledge into practice and then be applied, in a better way and strategically, in their businesses.
The “Entrepreneur Wednesday” was born as an initiative of the Directorate of Productive Development, with the aim of developing the business skills of entrepreneurs in the province. Courses have been given covering different topics, seeking to enrich the knowledge of the participants.
The trainings open the opportunity to display the creativity of all entrepreneurs, who decide to take the risk of starting and running their business, thanks to the support of the Prefecture of Chimborazo.

At the event, Eng. Edison Campos, Responsible and delegate of the Productive Development Directorate, proceeded to the symbolic delivery of certificates for the participation to the entrepreneurs and the speakers of the “Entrepreneur Wednesday” Program. He also pointed out the importance of these seminars because it is an economic advance for Chimboracense families.
In the end, Juan Pintag, president of the Makiwan Rurashka Handicraft Association, indicated that this training has been a source of inspiration and motivation to start a series of projects, which with daily work, hope to become employment-generating companies, through the effort , to achieve success.
