The Chimborazo Prefecture, through the Coordination of Inclusion and Interculturality and Gender, delivered potato seeds, lupine, organic and chemical fertilizer for the women of the Cebadas, Palmira and La Matriz parishes of the Guamote canton.
Juan Pablo Cruz, prefect of the province, indicated the contribution that as an institution is made for the benefit of the women of the Province. “This project is for the women of our parishes and communities, they are our example to follow. Today we are providing support and encouragement to mothers, heads of households, giving them this certified and sealed seed for the development of the productive sector, ”he said.
The delivery was made in the parish of Cebadas, Palmira and La Matriz, benefiting 797 women from this canton, with the delivery of 728 bags of organic fertilizer, 60 bags of potato super chola seeds, 20 bags of certified lupine seed and 15 sacks of chemical fertilizer to complement the soil improvement.
Hilario Naula, coordinator of Social Management of the provincial institution, expressed the importance of serving this sector. “We want to motivate our colleagues from the Guamote canton and their communities. With these seeds we are delivering quality, and in coordination with the technicians of the Provincial Government, we will continue to provide support to the entire productive sector, “he said.
Likewise, Baltazara Dumancela, beneficiary of the project, expressed her words of gratitude and appreciation for the intervention of the Prefecture with the farmer and the field.
