Provincial Board of Trustees provides medical assistance to vulnerable groups in Buenos Aires, Cumandá

The Mobile Health Unit of the Provincial Board of Trustees provides medical assistance to priority groups in the Buenos Aires area of ​​the Cumandá canton with the delivery of totally free medicines to vulnerable people in this sector.

Boys, girls, adolescents, mothers and the elderly received timely care from the dentist, Luis Naranjo, and in general medicine from Santiago Pazán, with the support of the nursing assistant, Cristian Uquillas.

Laura Urgilés, president of the Committee for Improvement of the Buenos Aires campus, welcomed the medical brigade of the Provincial Board and thanked Dr. Juan Pablo Cruz, prefect of Chimborazo, for the management, “thank you for taking us into account because we have been abandoned in health, it is pleasant to have the doctors who come to offer us their services, mainly to children and the elderly ”, he indicated.

The general practitioner, Santiago Pazán, treated 35 people and found problems of hypertensive crisis, arterial hypertension, pharyngitis, osteoarthritis and arthritis in older adults. And in the mothers of families, children and adolescents he found difficulties in parasitosis, myalgias, low back pain, muscle aches, conjunctivitis, urinary infections, anemia, allergies and common colds.

Fernanda Fernández, resident of the enclosure, thanked the prefect, Juan Pablo Cruz, for having sent the doctors from the Type “B” Health Center of the Provincial Board, “with all my heart, thank you very much, for having attended us in the enclosure, since due to the pandemic, we have been deprived of medical care, we have not been able to attend the Sub-centers for fear of contagion, ”he said.
