The Chimborazo Prefecture, in coordination with the Productive Development Directorate, held the II Business Forum “Chimborazo Undertakes Towards Change 2020”, where Katherine Argotty, Minister of the Ecuador Planning Secretariat, Jorge Guevara, Zonal 3 Coordinator of the Agency for Regulation, Control and Sanitary Surveillance (ARCSA), businessmen, entrepreneurs, producers and craftsmen from Chimboraca, who pointed out that this space for dialogue and discussion is very important, since it is carried out with the purpose of supporting this business group.
Juan Pablo Cruz, prefect of Chimborazo, highlighted the work carried out by Fomento Productivo, who, through this type of activities, give the possibility that our entrepreneurs have a real knowledge of how their ventures should be managed to be able to compete in the markets to local and national level. “The Chimborazo Prefecture is always committed to supporting the most vulnerable sectors of the province and this is the best way to do it,” he said.
Jorge Guevara, Zonal 3 Coordinator of (ARCSA), highlighted the importance of these events that help, mainly the entrepreneur, to have a better knowledge of their business, above all, to know the objectives that must be set to get ahead with their micro business , safety, experience, history and tradition, are some main aspects that the entrepreneur must take into account to improve their production. “We are here to share our knowledge together and achieve the objectives,” he said.
For her part, Katherine Argotty, Minister of the Planifica Ecuador Secretariat, in her speech called on entrepreneurs, producers and artisans of the province to unity. “Working together is the key to being able to succeed, let’s join forces and you will see that the results will be favorable,” he said.
The Forum was in charge of the Coordination of the General Directorate of Productive Development, Economic Improvement Management Unit, where around 200 entrepreneurs, invited artists, dance group participated, in addition, an entrepreneurship fair was held in the Stone Hall , in which the prefect of the province visited each of the stands, observing the products that are made by entrepreneurs from Chimbo who seek to be recognized at the national level.
The businessmen, entrepreneurs, producers and artisans of the province, recognized the effort made by the provincial government authorities to support this group that the only thing that aspires is to have a good market for their ventures. At the end of the Forum, the organizers gave certificates to the participants who were part of this event.
