The topics covered are digital and gastronomic marketing, gastronomic costs and cooking techniques. The talks were named as “Latin America Gastronomic Identity” and received the support of the Provincial Government and APRECH, the event was also broadcast through a live signal on the YouTube platform for the whole world.
“This type of event is important to update the knowledge of professionals who provide their tourism services, taking into account that Chimborazo is a highly tourist province that must adapt to new realities at all times,” said Luis Falconí, Director of Tourism and International Cooperation.
Dozens of food and beverage tourist service providers took part in the activity, who upon completion received certificates for their participation.
“We are grateful to the Chimborazo Prefecture, the reception of its people is impressive and we are happy, it is the second time that we come here to provide them with important topics so that they can put into practice,” said Edison Hidrobo, chef of Identidad Gastronómica Latinoamérica.
There are new tools that have emerged since the health crisis caused by covid19, they have been adapted to the gastronomic tourism sector for the reactivation of this field.
“Digital and gastronomic marketing is important to create new ways of selling and to boost the business in a better way,” explained Paúl Sevillano, the brand’s trainer.
