KOICA evaluated the project at the “Las Abras” Bioknowledge Center

A delegation from the South Korean International Cooperation Agency, “KOICA”, visited the facilities of the Center for Bioknowledge and Technological Transparency for Productive Change “Las Abras”, in order to carry out an evaluation of the projects it is in charge of The Provincial Government, together with representatives of the prefecture, inspected the vegetable seeding machine and the space for raising minor species, verifying that everything is fulfilled as agreed.
Edison Campos, Director of Productive Development, stated that these are strategic actions that allow us to continue strengthening the different activities that the province of Chimborazo has. “Today the colleagues have come to an evaluation process, they are very happy, very happy; they see how the Bioknowledge center is working in a good way and complying with the established objectives ”, he pointed out.
Juheang Kang, coordinator of Koica Ecuador, said she was satisfied with the results of the work carried out by the institution in the training center. “It was worth having delivered these resources that are destined to improve the lives of Chimboracenses, I am happy with the results we have had, in addition, we are ready to support future projects.”
For her part, Martha Chucho, coordinator of Inclusion, Interculturality and Gender, announced that the Training Center works on four components: strengthening the social part, production of seedlings, production of minor species and training of promoters.
“Today we present the project to strengthen the Bioknowledge center, hoping to have future support from this international organization,” she concluded.
