Llagos receives specialized medical attention and free medicine by the Health Unit of the Provincial Board

The Mobile Unit of the Provincial Board of Trustees came to the parish of Llagos, Chunchi canton to provide general medical and dental care and delivery of free medicine to the most vulnerable and low-income people who reside in the neighborhoods of the parish. Approximately 30 people were served.

Dr. Juan Pablo Cruz, prefect of the province, attended the place and offered this service to the residents who were present. “This Health Unit is for you, we want to provide this human service for the entire population of Chimborazo for free and with quality,” he said.

Cristian Uquillas, head of the Mobile Unit, indicated that they have been very well received by the residents and pointed out that, they are visiting all the cantons of the Province, they have all the support of the Prefecture, “they give us the medicines and supplies necessary to be able to attend the requests of all of you and of the people in general, we have a lot of welcome from the communities. The only requirement that is requested is the identification number, “he said.

For her part, Sofía Yumisaca, a resident of the central neighborhood, said that the service is very good, and she also thanked the Prefect of the province for helping those who cannot go to the city to be checked with these mobile units. “The care is free and that helps us a lot, especially now for the rural people who do not have the resources to pay for our health and today our Prefect is helping us,” he said.

Likewise, Camilo Quishpe, a native of the Paccha community, expressed his gratitude for the care provided and the ease of having this unit closer to his sector, “they attended to me quickly, thank you very much for sending this Mobile Unit, it is a very large facility for the people who live here. I thank on behalf of my community for the attention to the poorest and most vulnerable people ”, he pointed out.
