MATUS PATIENT BENEFITS FROM THE AMBULANCE SERVICES OF THE PROVINCIAL BOARD

The ambulance of the Board of Trustees of the Chimborazo Prefecture transfers stable patients to different cities in our province and country, so that they can undergo specialized medical treatments.

Last Tuesday the ambulance transferred Mr. Juan Cuzco, 57 years old, from the Matus parish capital of the Penipe canton to the Los Riñones clinic, located in the north of Riobamba, for his usual hemodialysis treatments, complying with all security and protection protocols.

The beneficiary patient thanked the prefect of Chimborazo Juan Pablo Cruz, and the director of the Provincial Board Lorena Rocero for the help they receive to be able to travel three days a week.

“Before, I used to travel from Matus on the intercantonal passenger bus to the La Vasija sector in Riobamba, from there I would take a taxi to the clinic on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays,” Cuzco concluded.
