Juan Pablo Cruz, prefect of Chimborazo, accompanied by Carmen Gadbay vice-prefect and technicians of the Provincial Government, toured the works that are being carried out in various areas of Alausí, in addition, the work was socialized with the inhabitants of each sector.
The tour began in the Llactapamba community belonging to the Matriz parish, in this sector road maintenance of 20 kilometers is carried out, benefiting more than 5,000 families from 15 communities. “The” García Moreno “road was abandoned for many years (…) now we will have a road in good condition to be able to travel without any problem,” said Luis Cando, community leader from Llactapamba.
Later they moved to the community of Cobshe Alto, where they held a meeting with the inhabitants of the sector, who are the beneficiaries of the Ozogoche – Alausí irrigation project, with the topography studies of the main conduction line, a better service will be provided 450 user families from 10 communities, strengthening agricultural and livestock production in Alausí.
The day culminated in the Huanca Pallaguchi community of the Achupallas parish, with the delivery of school kits to boys and girls in this area, who belong to the Child Labor Eradication Project (ETI), promoted by the Chimborazo Achupallas Provincial Patronage; In each sector of the canton, the provincial authorities reaffirmed their commitment to continue working for the development and progress of the entire province.
“Thank you for these works that benefit a large number of families who make a living from agriculture and livestock but who were never served before and now the reality is different,” said Pedro Ortega, community leader.
