The project of Home Care for the Elderly of the Board of Trustees of the Chimborazo Prefecture, in agreement with the MIES, works to improve the quality of life, the physical and psychological condition of the elderly, through physical, respiratory and occupational therapies.

Silvana Muñoz, technician of the Provincial Board and responsible for the project stated that due to the health emergency they are working under the modality of Telework, developing the corresponding activities with older adults in the units called “My Best Times” and “My Golden Years” .

“We carry out the location of users through video calls, calls to the cell phone numbers of relatives of older adults or messages via WhatsApp, with the fundamental objective of safeguarding the integrity of the elderly, who are a priority in the current administration of the Prefect Juan Pablo Cruz and the Provincial Government Board of Trustees ”, added Muñoz.
