Chimborazo Prefecture, promotes community tourism in the province

In the Santiago de Quito parish of the Colta canton, the delivery of the paving of the Tinkucloma – El Mirador road was carried out, a work that was carried out in coordination between the Provincial Government and the Parish GAD.

Juan Pablo Cruz, Prefect of Chimborazo inaugurated this work, which benefits 5,700 people in the sector, promoting community tourism and substantially improving the roads of 7 communities.

Manuel Cunishpuma, president of the parish GAD, thanked the prefect for crystallizing this work and stated that: “when there is the will to work for the people, these are the results, now our communities will be able to reactivate their economy and we will also be able to present a new attraction to the tourists who visit us ”.

On his part, Juan Pablo Cruz, mentioned the importance of joining forces to contribute to the development of the province. “Thank you all for helping me to work, for being the support we need and thus today inaugurating a milestone for Santiago de Quito, that is the correct way to promote the constant development of Chimborazo; as a provincial government, we build works that transform lives ”, he pointed out.

The cobblestone of this road now allows easy access to the viewpoint of the Rayaloma neighborhood, from which it is possible to contemplate the Colta lagoon and in turn, visitors will be able to know more Chimboracense tourist attractions.
