In the Pungalbug Verdecruz community of the Licto parish of the Riobamba canton, the Prefecture of Chimborazo, he provided medical services; delivered technical assistance and food rations to priority attention groups; demonstrating the social responsibility that prevails in the institution.
60 patients, including older adults, people with disabilities, children and adolescents, belonging to the Pompeya, Gueseche, Tzimbuto Quincahuàn, Tzegzeñag, Lucero Loma, Llugshibug and Verdecruz communities, received assistance in general medicine and dentistry, thanks to the staff of the Unit Mobile Health of the Provincial Board of Chimborazo.
Carmen Gadbay, Vice Prefect of Chimborazo, delivered a support cane, a mattress and an anti-decubitus cushion, as well as 276 food rations to the residents of the seven communities.
Lourdes Moreno, president of the Verdecruz community, recognized the efforts of the Provincial Government. “We are very happy, because the prefecture is present, they receive a God pay them and that they continue coming to visit us poor people”.
For her part, Mariana Moreno Ruiz, secretary of the Verdecruz community, assured that the institutional work is part of citizenship. “Thank you for coming, we are happy with the doctors who have treated older adults especially, who are the ones who require the most attention, because they suffer from many diseases, which is not the first or the last time, we want them to come back,” he said.
