The Artisan Plaza at the Train Station reopened its doors thanks to the support of the Chimborazo Prefecture

They are more than 33 entrepreneurs and artisans who, after 4 months, resumed their activities, with the purpose of reviving their economy, thanks to the self-management and support of private and public institutions, such as the Chimborazo Prefecture, which promotes reactivation projects tourist and productive.

Luis Falconí, director of Productive Development of the Chimborazo Prefecture, indicated that economic reactivation with distancing is feasible. He stressed that a weekly disinfection schedule is planned with the Prefecture on Mondays, and that it is planned to provide protection visors for entrepreneurs and artisans. In addition to all this, technical assistance and training by the Chimborazo Prefecture for entrepreneurs are added.

Patricio Yucta, president of the artisans and entrepreneurs of the Plaza Artesanal de la Estación del Tren in Riobamba, expressed his gratitude to the Prefecture, and made available to the citizens the attention that will be provided on Tuesday to Sunday from 09: 00 to 18:00. He emphasized that the new reality changed the dynamics of commercialization, through the use of digital media, with which they aspire to enter new markets.

Jaime Valdivieso, producer of railway caps, bets everything on this new reality and thanks the support of the prefect Juan Pablo Cruz, who promotes projects and policies to stimulate the economic reactivation of the province, as he acknowledged.
