The Prefecture of Chimborazo, in coordination with the Directorate of Productive Development and the Directorate of Social Management, continue to help the most affected cantons of Chimborazo, due to the eruption of the Sangay volcano, last Sunday, in the early hours of the morning.
The first deliveries were made in the Cebadas parish, Guamote canton in the communities of; Pancun Ichubamba, San Nicolás and Guaniche with the support of the Guargualla irrigation system partners, Licto parish, who collaborated with food for the animals of these communities.
“Working together has been fundamental in these difficult times that part of our province is experiencing, because of this natural phenomenon,” said Hilario Naula, Director of Social Management, who also recognized the great spirit of solidarity that Chimboracenses have .
Another place where the delivery was made, in this same canton, is in the Chausan Totorillas community, Palmira parish, where they received mineral salts for the cattle.
At a general level, the entire population nationwide has been present to support the inhabitants of these affected cantons. And they have also recognized the management by the Provincial Government.
